Tax warrant issued for Amerks

I can't remember if this has been reported yet — if it has, I apologize for the duplication — but the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance has issued a warrant for the Amerks demanding payment of $18,318.40 in overdue taxes.

The warrant was filed with the Monroe County Clerk's office Nov. 9. The Amerks owe $15,311.89 in taxes for the period ending May 31, 2007, plus $2,143.51 in penalties and $863.00 in interest. I'll try to get details next week.
