D'oh!
I have to offer my sincere apologies for being totally behind the curve today — the Amerks and Rhinos both got sued, and I've been unable to follow up. I've been knee-deep in the Webster Herald today. I wish I didn't have to do things like eat and pay rent, but the bills gotta get paid, because I'm not the owner of multiple sports teams who can BS his way around HIS bills. Besides, I'm committed to the Herald. They've been incredibly nice to me over the years, and I owe them.
Anyway, I'll do as much as I can over the next few days to catch up with all this stuff, but it's times like these that really make me feel wholly inadequate in what I'm trying to do here. I just can't keep up with the big boys, and that's frustrating.
Oh well, not much I can do about it. In the meantime, I welcome your comments and thoughts about today's developments for both the Amerks and Knighthawks. If you want, you can also make suggestions about which angles you'd like to see investigated and questions you'd like to see asked.
However, I WILL note that I reported months ago — and as recently as Jan. 5 — on how the Rhinos own their soul to NBT Bank which is now suing them for $11 million. I also theorized that NBT could easily foreclose on the stadium if the Rhinos didn't pay their bills. I feel like the Velvet Underground sometimes — way ahead of my time.
Thanks, as usual, for hanging in there and being patient. Your readership is much appreciated, as always.

Hey Ryan you are ahead of the curve! Good work and I'm sure the local sports media and govt officials are taking notice.

Hi Ryan. I stand by my supposedly "moronic" "rambling idiot" comments I posted in response to you blog on Thursday, Jan 24 "Everything is Cool Here, But Why the Rhinos Delay?"
The longer it goes on, the more details come out, the worse it is for all Rochester Sports Fans.
Other may have the upfront money but the buck stops with the fans who support all these teams. I'm proud to be a moronic, rambling idiot for standing up for the thousands of Rochester Sports fans who, at this point, have no voice.
